I thought I'd share some of my favorite cookbooks from my shelves. Since there are so many Vegan cookbooks coming out, I've started to use the Local library as a resource then purchase my favorites.
I figure if there are at least 5 interesting recipes, it's worth adding the cookbook to my collection. I also have donated several to the Library so they can be shared!

I'm so excited about my new purchase. It's so convenient to have all the substitution choices in one book instead of scouring all my cookbooks -- usually at the last minute! In addition to valuable information, it also contains tons of great recipes, plus I just love the design of the book. As you can tell, it has become one of my all time favorites! Nutritional Yeast: Nutritional yeast is an inactive yeast similar to brewer's yeast, but with more flavor. It's yellow in color and has a delicious nutty, cheesy taste. Nutritional yeast is also a valuable nutritional supplement, as it contains high levels of protein, folic acid, and vitamins. Most important, it provides vegans and vegetarians with a non-animal source of vitamin B12. Nutritional yeast can be used to make tofu based breakfast dishes, casseroles, mac & cheese or sprinkled on freshly popped popcorn. Natural food stores should carry it either in the bulk section or in the baking section.
